Total Success is Determined by Your Thoughts, Beliefs and Actions

Many people say they want success, yet they are not willing to do what it takes to achieve their desired outcome. I am a believer in Total Success. Total Success requires more then a successful business and a great income. Total Success is about having a balanced life, giving back and enjoying what you do.

In order to achieve Total Success there are specific thoughts and beliefs you must have. There are also certain actions you must take.Success in anything goes beyond the obvious. Although you need a certain amount of skill and knowledge, your successes will come from the way you think, feel and act, coupled with intense emotion and a steadfast belief in "self."

To achieve Total Success you must set goals. Setting goals cannot be a hit and miss process. It has to be systematic, deliberate and the cornerstone of every other aspect of what you do in order to create a successful, abundant, happy, and balanced life. Goals are about gaining direction, clarity and vision.

My success is directly proportionate to my willingness to set goals, write down my goals, review my goals and stay committed to my goals.

When you focus on your goals by writing them down and reviewing them on a regular basis amazing events will begin to happen. You will be able to manifest what you want a lot quicker.
However, you must do more than write them down and read them. You have to be committed to the outcome. This means that if you want to get and stay healthy, you will have to make choices around what you eat and how often you exercise. It is the same with your finances. If you want to increase your wealth you must make specific choices on how you spend and invest your money.

With dedication and commitment you will be well on your way to Total Success.

Unstoppable Attitude

Attitude, as you have heard many times, is everything. That theory has been written in thousands of of books, spoken to millions of people, and driven deep into your mind. Why? It's true. Your attitude is your own personal filter for everything that happens to you, around you, or within you. What takes place in this world is not as important as how you view it. You cannot choose what will happen to you. You cannot guarantee success and happiness for yourself. These things are out of your control. You can, however, choose how you feel about these things, about how you respond to these situations. With a positive attitude, you will have the ability to be happier each and every day, make others around you happier, and live a good life. Below are seven tips that can help you keep your positive attitude going.

1. PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE When you find yourself getting fed up and your mood is taking a turn for the worse, take a step back and put things into perspective. Is the stress and frustration really worth it? When you look at the bigger picture, don't they seem a bit insignificant? They should, because nine times out of ten the daily problems we face are not really that important when we take a look at life as a whole. You are alive, you have food, shelter, and freedom. These things are reason enough to smile when you wake in the morning.

2. HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO You are expecting something in the mail. Each day you run to the mail box, filled with excitement and anticipation. And then, finally, it comes! People love to look forward to things. Some say that anticipation of something happening is better than when it actually happens. We all have special events that are coming up. Holidays, birthdays, vacations, weekends, etc. Keeping these in mind will give you something to stay excited about.

3. HELP OTHERS There is no better way to forget about your worries than to help someone else with theirs. When you take the focus off of yourself, and give your attention to helping people, your attitude will change dramatically. This tip not only includes helping friends and family, but also volunteering to help those in need whom you may not know. When you give of yourself, you'll receive tenfold in return.

4. TAKE A BREAK There are times when the only solution is to get away from it all. If you know that you are in a negative mood, or have been in low spirits for some time, take a break. It could be just what you need. Taking a break can vary from a short trip in your car, to a vacation in the Bahamas. A walk around the block, or a leisurely drive around the neighborhood can also work wonders for your mood and attitude.

5. TALK WITH A POSITIVE FRIEND Talking things out can help you see the good in a bad situation. Call a friend and tell them about your problem, or just chat about any topic that comes to you. This is a very therapeutic and effective cure to a rough day.

6. LIFE IS SHORT One thing to always remember is that life is short. The worst thing would be to look back on your days wishing you could have been happier. Now is the time to take a good look at your attitude and make the necessary improvements. Days, weeks, months, and years have a way of rushing by. Don't let them pass while you are in a negative mood about life. A positive attitude is worth the work, effort, and change that it takes to create it. Look back with no regrets, only happy memories.

7. PEOPLE HAVE DONE MORE WITH LESS A common cause for a poor attitude is the feeling that you are in a situation that is just too hard to deal with. Perhaps you don't have the job you want, or you may have a boss that drives you crazy. It may even be more serious than that. You may be too young, too old, too tired, too unlucky, etc... People have done more with less. Many people from all over the world have overcome obstacles, solved problems, and maintained a positive attitude through the most trying of times. If they can do it, so can you. The power of a positive attitude is always within your reach. You simply have to extend your hand and grab it. Use the tips above to gain a great attitude, and to make your life happier, healthier, and wealthier.

Sinking of Egos among UMNO

I read this article from Lit Kit Siang blog and would like to publish here:

One least noted but most consequential impact of this last election is that those rabidly racist UMNO ultras have been effectively defanged. Malaysians can now be assured that the next UMNO General Assembly will not see the likes of Hishammuddin Hussein or Khairy Jamaluddin putting on their race-taunting, kris-wielding stunts.

These hitherto UMNO young bulls have been, as we say here on the ranch, “cut off.” Yes, castrated! They are now reduced to sterile steers destined for the slaughterhouse; they are not worthy to propagate the herd.

Khairy Jamaluddin in particular had a near-death political experience in Rembau, his father’s village and a previously safe UMNO constituency. Unknown PKR’s candidate Badrul Hisham Shaharin, or Chegu Bard, a product of the local kampong school and the nearby Raja Melewar Teachers’ College, proved a formidable opponent for Khairy, the self-puffed ego and product of Oxford University via Singapore’s World United College.

Khairy is smart enough to realize that had it not been for the timely “rescue” in the form of postal votes, together with the earlier last minute cancellation by the Elections Commission on the use of indelible ink that would have prevented fraudulent voting, Chegu Bard would have easily humbled Khairy. How else to explain an initial hundred-vote victory for Chegu Bard would turn out to be a massive 5,000-vote victory for Khairy on “recount”?

As I wrote elsewhere, even UMNO morons are teachable. That is not a surprise, for the ability to learn is an attribute of all living things. The only variable is the slope of the learning curve and of course the timing.

UMNO operatives may have learned their lesson with this election, but it is already too late. The implosion of UMNO has begun.

That said though, there are still some slow learners within UMNO; the lesson has yet to sink into Abdullah Badawi, for example. He still thinks he had a thunderous victory and vows to carry on with business as usual. Unfortunately his ministers and UMNO Supreme Council members are all lembik. To them, their naked emperor is still immaculately attired in fine embroidery. There is no jantan left in UMNO to disabuse Abdullah of his delusion. That is, until now.

The True Political Face

As the world gets more competitive, how often when you are performing well, you have some status or position in a company or in the country or within family members when they will get close and be nice to you. On the other hand, when we are poor and noboby or no name in this society, when you get close to them, they will find excuses to get far away. I'm sure most of us have or heard about this "true political people" right!

In chinese said "phat gap ngan", some people are very "political" i mentioned this topic is because when i read news from malaysiakini, Tony Pua, MP of Petaling Jaya Utara encounter this situation. So many weird calls according to him when those people on the telephone seldom talk to him or never met him before, to look for jobs and other business opportunities. “Basically, I get calls from people who want to secure office in the local council. Some from the other side of the (political) fence have called and ask ‘Are there vacancies, are you helping in the selection of councillors, can I give my resume to you?’
Is it the standard of living is too high that some of the people could not handle it anymore? To certain extent, hardwork alone does not pay off as the cost of living getting higher and higher. Bills, utilities are lagging few months behind.
Thus, in today's world, we need to work very hard and also work smart. As we look at Tony Pua's recent situation, people try to work smart here and hopefully land them a new job and also an opportunity for them to pursue further on their career. It is wrong?
Personally, i don't think this "political" practice is completely wrong, imagine, if you go to the JPJ this morning and you go straight to the receptionist to get your waiting number and you found out, you have to wait for another 100 customers before you. Yet, you are rushing to fetch you son in an hour time. With the current number been call, you know at least you have to wait for 2 hours before you will be serve. What should you do? Wait for 2 hours and make your son wait at the school, or you take a look at people around you inside the building to "peep" on their queue number, then approach them and ask politely IF they can do you a favor? If they said NO, what do you lose? IF yes, it saves you time and you will be on time to fetch your son! I personally done this very oftenly and some people who noticed it will put anger face towards me, again it is wrong or unfair to other person who really wait until their number been call?
Unfair yes, but again back in reality, if you do no "harm" towards other people, it is consider a smart practice, some agree and yet some disagree, but both parties have their ideas and thought behind it. This the world and time moves extremely fast and can't turn back. Even money can't buy back the time, thus, we have to be smart in certain situation and save time to complete our daily tasks.
This happens quite frequently throughout the world, and nothing new or special about it, it is about how we handle this "political" people. Smile, shake hand, and will give you a call when neccesary. Don't criticise or make them look bad, at the end of the day, we don't want to create enemy within.
Work hard and also work smart in search of excellence in life.
take care.

Welcome our Multi-Language MB Perak

Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin was sworn in as Perak Menteri Besar at the royal town of Kuala Kangsar this morning. The ceremony, which took place at 11.40am, was headed by the Perak Regent Raja Dr Nazrin Shah at the Iskandariah Palace.Mohammad Nizar, who received his appointment letter before the swearing-in ceremony, is Perak's 10th MB.

Mohammad Nizar’s first measure after assuming the menteri besar post was to announce that all compound notices and parking summonses issued up to today by all local councils in Perak would be waived.

What a great piece of news to me, coz i got few MBI summones. Although it was disagreed by certain parties, to me it was like "new menteri besar gives out candies to rakyat".

The swearing in of Mohammad Nizar today follows days on uncertainty and internal dispures within the PAS-DAP-PKR coalition on the composition as well as the menteri besar candidate for the state government. Finally the parties agreed to Mohammad Nizar’s appointment as the menteri besar as well as to have six DAP, three PKR and one PAS state representatives to form the 10-person Perak state executive council.

Most people in Perak was stunned as Chinese newspaper Sin Chew daily has reported on its frontpage today that Nizar had unexpectedly turned up at a forum in Ipoh yesterday and drew applause from the mostly 3,000-strong Chinese crowd.

He stunned the crowd by speaking in Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese, Tamil, English and Malay at Sin Chew's 'What's Next' political forum.

Nizar's speak multi language as i believe he learn from his mother who is chinese. Keep up the good work coz the rakyat will monitor closely on the performance and to prove that we did not pick the wrong barisan recently at the general election.

PKR invites Umno for talks on NEP

PKR has invited Penang Umno to thrash out their concerns over the New Economic Policy (NEP) in a dialogue session, Penang PKR chief Datuk Zahrain Mohamed Hashim said. He said this was a better option than holding street protests, which only confused the public.

He said the DAP-led Penang government's “so called cancellation of the NEP” was completely redundant because it no longer existed and it was equally disappointing that Penang Umno was still harping on a non-existent policy.

It was a good idea by PKR. Hold street protests never gonna work especially in Malaysia. Take a look at Tibet who demonstrate never ending protests but it won't stop China from host the upcoming Olympics. Sit down if you want and voice out your dissatisfaction, ideas and any suggestion to improve on the current NEP.

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim time to show your leardership and overcome this problem in a professional way and show the UMNO guys, Barisan Rakyat is no mean weak government. So to in Perak, various groups especially from BN components said that the upcoming state government was a weak one and Chan Kam, former Pasir Pinji assemblymen said foreign investors will stay out from Perak because the state government was weak.

Hey, Mr Chan, the government still not yet formed of course weak. If you are so strong, why dumped out by rakyat and replace by Su Keong Seong?

PAS: Federal Govt Next

PAS is now confident that it can soon set up an Islamic form of government at the federal level, which it claims is gaining more acceptance, especially with non-Muslims, following the good showing of the Opposition coalition in last weekend’s elections.

Datuk Husam Musa said “We are now genuinely hopeful of ruling the country soon. We now only need over 30 parliamentary seats to seize control,” Husam said at a thanksgiving rally, which was held at the compound of the Stadium Sultan Muhammad Ke IV before a mammoth crowd on Friday night.

Husam said the Opposition must build on the breakthrough by making the five states under its rule as exemplary states compared to others.

“Previously, Selangor folk looked down on Kelantan as a poor state. Now, we rule their state. Their mosques will be open to allow us to showcase the real situation in Kelantan to them,” he added.

It doesn't suprise me with the confidence of PAS after witness the political tsunami after our country celebrate its 50th independent birthday. As mentioned, the 5 states captured by Barisan Rakyat will showcase their talent to run the government in the next 5 years. If it is prove successful and the rakyat feel happy with that, it doesn't suprise me IF Barisan Rakyat will form the federal government, another history in the making. Get down to work and work hard to have any chance the run the federal government because BN also will work to win back the rakyat heart. Keangkuhan pemimpin BN harus dimusnahkan, eat your humble pie.

Perak on the brink to form new state govt

Sight of relief from Ipoh folks as DAP-PKR-PAS allies able to sort themselves out and will form the new state government soon. PAS Muhammad Nizar will once again sworn in as New Menteri Besar, DAP Ngeh Koo Ham will be the Deputy Menteri Besar and one last question in the new state government will there be a Second Deputy Menteri Besar? Under the state coalition, there be only 1 Deputy Menteri Besar and the Regent of Perak already voice this matter out the DAP-PKR-PAS allies before went to Damansara to welcome the newborn Royal Baby together with his father Sultan Azlan Shah.
Another roadblock when Regent of Perak back to Ipoh? In my opinion yes because PKR will not want to lose out the DMB post and Ngeh Koo Ham will not give his Deputy post to anyone after losing out to PAS's Nizar in the race to become Menteri Besar.
Barisan Rakyat seem take some time to sort themselves out because themselves not expected to form the state government before the election and their goal was only to dny BN 2/3 majority in Perak. But the rakyat have another idea and most the political people competing was shocked to notice rakyat in Perak want changes and chose Baraisan Rakyat to lead them in the next 5 years.
Rakyat in Ipoh seem to cool down little bit but still a "hot topic" among them. Rakyat also notice not only Perak with the same problem on the choice of Menteri Besar but state managed by BN such as Perlis and also Terengganu also facing the same problem. Must be some hidden agenda going on, lets wait and see especially in Perlis. Why Raja Perlis refuse the appointment of Shahidan who claim receive endorsement from PM instead appoint Datuk DR MD ISA SABU.
Now both claim to be MB but the Raja Perlis may edge out in this appointment, that mean Datuk DR MD ISA SABU will be the new Menteri Besar Perlis. Same applied to Terengganu. Folks let sit down and watch movies together on how BN sort out this issues.

Umno holds one-hour protest at Komtar

Some 1,000 Umno members and supporters staged a one-hour protest outside the Penang state government office in Komtar this afternoon over the New Economic Policy controversy.
Penang CM's Lim Guan Eng know he got to be big man and yesterday UMNO protests in front of his office at Komtar Penang. Police have to be there and dissolve the protestors and will take neccesary action against them.
Malaysia is a multicultural country live in harmony in "foreigners" mind. The dissolve of NEP was a positive one in my opinion. As the world change rapidly and leave the loosers behind. Have we encounter, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, the NEP which allows Malays to have certain priority is good but may caused harm in the long run if the rely on it too much. After all, we have to work very hard to gain knowledge, skills and so much more to make us more competitive and adapt to the changes. The abolished of NEP doesn't mean we ignore the Malays.
I read on the newspaper that day Pak Lah want to meet Lim Guan Eng on his plan for Malays and Indian in Penang. Now Pak Lah, what is your plan for Indian and Chinese in Malaysia after MCA and MIC dumped out by the rakyat recently?
Time to prove the government can work effectively and effieciently once again without corruption and transparently. Hopefully Barisan Rakyat will be the role model and what it takes to run the state government effectively and show to them, "we can talk, and we walk the talk"

New Perak MB saga continue

PAS's Nizar sworn in as new Perak MB suffered another setback according to local TV news at 5pm. All PKR-PAS-DAP state assemblymen gives the ceremony a miss although LKS publicly apologize and will attend the ceremony at Istana Kuala Kangsar.
What suprise is, even PAS member also did not attend the ceremony where Nizar angkat sumpah in front of Sultan Azlan Shah. WOW, what's on earth happening? Perak's people really in dilemma on the situation and rakyat in Ipoh felt bad that he or she make a wrong decision. This topic is very "hot" in Ipoh, wherever we go, we will listen people sharing "ideas" on this issue.
Now, what most embarassing is that, all state assemblymen gatthered at the front of Istana Kinta at Jalan Gopeng to meet Raja Muda to further discuss the matter. It caused chaotic traffic jam along the road and virtually traffic police have to be there to direct the traffic and also to control the state assemblymen.
Why this has to be happened especially when LKS is one of the most experienced politicians in Perak seem lack of leadership control. Now, what mentioned by Barisan Nasional seem to make sense, "apa-apa pun bangkang, sekarang run state government, tengoklah macam mana dia orang handle", Barisan Rakyat seem lost direction and rakyat confidence and patience runs thin.
DAP must know what is the impact if not performing in the next 5 yrs, not only rakyat decide who they gonna vote on next election but for the next 50 years, no chance for them if this happen again.
This is only my perception and not intend to hurt anyone party involve.

PAS' Nizar is new Perak MB

Pasir Panjang state assemblyperson and Perak PAS secretary Mohamad Nizar Jamaludin was today confirmed as the new menteri besar of the state.

The anxious wait among people in Perak finally over and as expected by most Ipoh's residents, PAS will get the nod among the 3 potential MB. Whoever it is, as MB, he doens't represent any party but to fulfill his roles and responsibilities, and serve the rakyat, the main concern of rakyat.

However, i also read a piece of news of malaysiakini that DAP was shocked with the appointment and boycott tomorrow sworn in ceremony of our new MB at Kuala kangsar. I do agree with my dad comment at "cakap tak serupa bikin", Oh Shit!, what on earth is happening, after 4 days of general election, cracks started, how effective will be this new government, only time will tell.

I was dismayed with DAP decision to boycott the ceremony, Come On, learn from Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, one of the most sporting and gentlemen politician i ever see. Rakyat Ipoh do feel shame and to some extent regret oh their decisions.

Judge yourself Mr Lim Kit Siang, you are still Ipoh Timur MP, not only concern about Guan Eng's CM in Penang. Why shocked? communication breakdown? piece of shit!!

Guess who is Perak next MB?

Rumours after rumours on who will be our next Perak MB? There was 3 potential candidates each from 1 party namely DAP, PKR and PAS. The front runners of course will be candidates from PKR and PAS since the condition to become Perak Menteri Besar must be Malay and also possess Muslim religion. However, only Sultan of Perak can change the "terms and conditions".

In my personal opinions, the Sultan will not change the rules since it not only affected Muslims in Perak but also from all over the country. No matter who will be sworn in as MB, the most important things, get the committee work together and serve the rakyat. In ipoh, the politics become one the most talk about topics and i not miss a chance to close some cases by building rapport with new customers thru chatting this "topics" with them. Most of them have their ideas and thoughts and people loves to "share" their thoughts and i took the chance to become one of their listener.

In every way, we got to look positive and I'm sure the recent rakyat choose what type of government they want expecially in Perak, they want to see changes. Perak' economy was stagnant under the leadership of former MB and i can see some rakyat suffer from the rising cost of living. I'm sure this will be one and only few opportunities for Opposition Party namely PAS< PKR and DAP to show rakyat their capability in running the state government effectively and efficiently. Meanwhile, as read from newspaper, MCA and Barisan will continue to serve rakyat and hopefully regain rakyat confidence towards them and vote for them again in the next general election. Good for Perak!

DAP-don't dissapointed us ok, this is one golden opportunity for you to shine. Failure, will reflect on the next election when once again rakyat go out and vote.

Harapan Baru Untuk Semua

As a first time voter, it was an exciting experience day for me to vote and be a responsible citizen. Over the past 2 weeks since the Prime Minister announced the 12th general election fall on March 8, ceramah after ceramah held all over ipoh areas. Seldom seen "candidates" also arrived all over contested areas. I met several of them but their arrival doesn't mean anything apart from a mere hand shake.
As mentioned in newspaper on the strong wind blowing towards the Opposition parties, i able to experience it myself particularly on DAP ceramah. The people turnout for the ceramah was unbelievable and i never witness such big audience in the last few elections. It said something don't you - MCA even begged for mercy and vote wisely and emotionally. I told my dad that one last ceramah will be held at Kampar Road, Ipoh and the turnout again was overwhelming. I saw some of the pictures snap by my dad at his blog "Cakap Tak Serupa Bikin", people was all over the place to get a glimpse of DAP's celebrity particularly Fong Poh Kuan and Lim Kit Siang.
Well, the election is over, and Ipoh one of the 5 states fell to Opposition and at least for time being, it will be a brand new state government in Ipoh and Harapan Baru untuk Semua.
This morning, when i get up and fetch my wife to have breakfast together, road to Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan was closed and i heard that DAP already arrived to take over the placed. WOW! DAP rules in Ipoh not MCA or BN anymore. This is the message from the Ipoh folks who sick and tired of promise after promise but the economy still weak and slow compare to other states.
I felt tired now after spending whole nite following the updates of the election and also phones keep on ringing, feel like i'm of the candidates, i received calls after calls of the updates and unconfirmed results but as expected especially time is off for Mr Samy Vellu, no more "Woh Foong", then news came in on Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon and i watch the short media session, i was impressed with his professionalism and take the defeat and hope DAP carry the good work done by Gerakan over the past 40 years. Out Tan Sri, came in Mr LIm Guan Eng who promised no one race will be left out- what a positive message but what will happen in future, remain question.
As for Barisan who won by a simple majority, a shocking result describe by some analysts, the road not so smooth anymore from now on, the road to recovery is very long and will become underdog or "opposition" for 5 states in the 13th general election. The meesage was clear and loud from the rakyat that we want changed. Hope party involved will do critical analysis and come out with the conclusion and also what has be done to win over the rakyat from today onwards
Hurray DAP!!! btw who will become Menteri Besar Perak? Hopefully, Mr handsome; Mr Wong Kah Woh from DUN Canning.
