The New Science of Getting Rich

Before i went back Ipoh yesterday, i manage to take time off to MidValley Megamall to update my Garmin GPS and it is fantastic after latest update. Then, went to ATM machine to withdraw money for weekend usage and straight head to MPH bookstore. I finish reading my OSHO's books bought in New DElhi, India.

So i bought the book by Wallace D. Wattles title "the new science of getting rich" and i read the entire book this morning. I suprised myself, the reason is that the content was so interesting that you can't even spend time to go washroom.

Below is the summary:

1) No one can live a really complete or successful life unless they're rich.

2) Everyone has the right to be free and unrestricted use of all the things they need for their fullest mental, spiritual, and physical development. Everyone have the right to be rich.

3) The tide of opportunity moves in different directions, according to the needs of the whole and the state of the society, and those who goes with the tide, instead of trying to swim against it, find an abundance of opportunities.

4) The way we do things is the direct result of the way we think about things. And to think what you really want to think is to think TRUTH, regardless of appearance.

5) Competition and Sacrifice is unneccesary and useless. You must rid yourself of the tought of competition. You are "made in the image of the Creator," here to create, not to compete for what is already created.

6) You don't have to take anything away from anyone

7) The desire for riches is simply our own capacity for larger life seeking fulfillment, so nature is friendly to your plans. Everything is naturally on your side. The universe desires you to have everything you want to have

8) "you don't have to drive sharp bargains" means you don't need to deal with them unfairly. You don't have to get something for nothing; rather, you can give everyone more than you take.

9) When you give everyone more in use value than you receive in cash value, you're adding to the life of the world with every business transaction and you don't have to beat anybody in business to get rich.

10) When you fully realize the fact that your desire for the possession of riches is at one with the desire of the supreme power for more complete expression, your faith become invincible.

GRATITUDE

a) Believe that there is one intelligent substance from which all things proceed

b) Believe that this substance gives you everything you desire

c) Relate to that intelligent substance through a feeling of deep and profound gratitude

11) The more gratefully we fix our minds on the supreme source when good things come to us, the more good things we will receive, and the more rapidly they will come. The reason for this is simply that an attitude of gratitude draws the mind closer to the source from which all blessings come

12) To fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best and to become the best. The grateful mind continually perceives good things, which becomes expectation of more of the same, which becomes faith; a deep understanding and knowledge

13) To be rich is to think in the certain way. To think in the certain way, we must be clear and precise. We must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want; you can't transmit an idea into the substance unless you have it clearly yourself

14) To become rich, all you need is to accomplish your goal so that you know what you want and to want it badly enough that it will stay in your thought.

15) Behind your clear vision must be real intention to realize it, to bring it into tangible expression.

16) To get rich, you need only to use your willpower on yourself

17) If you want to become rich, don't study poverty. Get rich is the way to help the poor. The poor don't need charity, they need inspiration. If you want to help the poor, demonstrate to them they can become rich. BUT first you must become rich

18) Give your attention wholly to riches. Do not focus on any form of poverty, lack or distress

19) An ounce of doing is worth a pound of theorizing

ACTING IN THE CERTAIN WAY

a) you must give everyone more in use value than they give you in cash value

b) forming a clear and distinct mental image of what you want

c) holding fast to your intention to get what you want

d) realizing with grateful faith that you do get what you want

20) By thought, whatever you focus on is brought to you. By action, you receive it.

21) Every day is either successful day or day of failures, and it is successful day that you get what you want. If everyday is a success, you can't fail to get rich

22) Do, every day, all that can be done that day, but don't overwork or rush blindly into your business trying to do the greatest possible number of things in the shortest possible time. Don't try to do tomorrow's work today or do a week's work in a day. It's not the number of things you do but the effectiveness of each separate action that counts as success.

23) A day or two spent in contemplating the vision of what you want and in earnest thanksgiving that you are getting it will bring your mind into such close relationship with the Supreme that you'll make no mistake when you do act

24) The desire for enhancement is inherent in all nature; it's the fundamental impulse of the universe

25) The desire to rule for self gratification has been the curse of the world

26) No matter what profession you're in, if you give increase of life to others and make them aware of that fact, they will be attracted to you, they will support your work, you will fulfill their needs and you will get rich

27) Don't wait for the "ideal" opporunity to be all that you want to be. When an opportunity to be more than you are now is presented and you feel impelled toward it, take it. It's the first step toward an even greater opportunity.

finally, to become rich act now by;

form a clear and definte mental image of the things we wish to have, to do, or to become, and we must hold this image in our thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the Supreme that all our desires are granted to us. If we wish to get rich, we must use our leisure hours comtemplating our vision, in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to us.
