Roger Federer avenged two years of clay-court torment at the hands of Rafael Nadal, snapping the Spaniard's 81-match clay winning streak and denying him a historic sweep of the clay ATP Masters Series titles to win a fourth Hamburg title, 2-6, 6-2, 6-0.Federer won his first ATP Masters Series title of the year but 13th of his career, second only to Andre Agassi's record 17 titles.
To succeed we should never give up in life, even experienced the dry spell of four consecutive tournaments without a win, criticized heavily by media on his mental strength to eventually succeed in clay court, split up with his part time coach, Tony Roach, and numerous occassions become the 2nd best to "king" of clay court Spaniard Rafael Nadal, finally Roger did it in the Final on recent concluded Hamburg Master Series.
I was extremely impressed on your yesterday performance, your determination to prove to the world that you too can become a strong force on clay court and i cannot think of better occassion to prove it when you beat Rafa Nadal for the first time on European clay court but also ended 81 match winning streak on Rafa. You just inspire me to work harder and achieved massive results in shortest time. Hope you will win the Rolland Garros next week and join the elite hall of fame something that even Pete Samprass couldn't achieved.
